missed connections coffee roasters
from the foothills of mt. apo, one of the highest peaks in the philippines, uncle uldorico deguilmo’s coffee came to us with the gracious assistance of social enterprise kapé philippine coffee. uncle uldorico’s coffee was processed in collaboration with ate (a-teh) marivic dubria, whose own coffee we’ve tried and fell in love with in the past. their efforts together speak volumes to davao’s philippine coffee community and its collaborative spirit.
between the gracious cultivation of uldorico’s coffee and the skilled experience of ate marivic’s processing, this coffee becomes evocative of tablea chocolate, plums, honey, and midi mafia’s remix of tamia’s 2004 song, “officially missing you”.
